Entry Level Graphic Designer Position

You will be responsible for creating visual media that will connect with our clients at Salt + Studio.

The duties of the designer include the following (but are not limited to):

• Meeting with the brand designer and creative director over webchat to determine the purpose and scope of a project

• Creating designs with digital tools, such as InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat Pro, and more

• Conveying messages with dynamic designs

• Designing detailed layouts

• Presenting the senior brand designer with design concepts

• Revising designs based on feedback from them

• Checking designs for mistakes before finalizing them

 

Skills needed:

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of design rules and an even better understanding of how to break them successfully. 

 

 Full-time, remote, Salary is 45,000 CAD.

 

We are not interested in micro-managing you, so you must be organized and self-driven.  We don't have set schedules, we only care about deadlines.  We want to make sure you have the time to do what you want.  So the only set times we have are a few weekly meetings where you will have to be present for a zoom meeting.
